Loving Someone

a piece sent to me by a friend. i don't know if she wrote this or somebody else did. but i liked the piece and i'd like to share it.

Loving Someone

When we love someone, we never really easily give
up on that person, even if we get hurt badly. We
always try to find to ease the pain, and to learn to
understand and forgive. Thats how love works. The
thought of losing someone dear to us is scary, and
sometimes unimaginable. And when the warm love
fades away, we allow ourselves to fall in a world of
make believe. When we keep our relationship and
hold to a feeling even only in our minds, then we
loose grip of what reality really is, and the feeling
is not there anymore.

The past behind us is often difficult coz it will
always take a little part of with it. It leaves an
empty space in our hearts that is only filled with
bitterness and pain. Loving too much doesnt hurt,
it is when we expect this love to be returned that
we begin 2 seek approval and affection on the
things weve done and we are taken for granted and love that we once freely and happily offered.
Things will never take its turn for the better if we let
the past cast shadow upon our lives. Theres no
use holding on to the feeling that is already dead. If
he belongs to someone else now, then let it be
that way. Dont waste your time waiting for
someone who never really cared about how you
would have felt. Open your heart again and give
yourself a chance to find the person who would make
loving worth the pain and the sacrifice.
Loving someone with all our hearts is not all that it
takes to make a relationship last. Even if we prove
our worth in many ways, seen or unseen, we still
cannot be given a guarantee of permanence and
loyalty in our relationships. Relationships that work
are those that do not live on love alone but strive
on mutual respect, kindness and loyalty. Even in
our best effort to keep our bonds strong and
steadfast, there are just time s when we have to
accept that not all relationships are meant to last.

Loving someone doesnt always mean that were
going to be loved in return. Being faithful doesnt
always mean that your partner will always be true
to you. Getting into a relationship is always a risk.
There is just no guarantee that it will work the first
time, or even the second or third time, if there will
be any. Sometimes, love means having to say
goodbye to someone you would have wished to
become one with. Sometimes, love means getting
hurt and being broken into pieces.

Even with all the pain that comes with loving we
should never let our hearts be destined to anger
and imprisoned by our need for justice. When love
comes into our lives we should be thankful
because it brings out the best and the good in all
of us. But when it leaves and goes against our will,
we should be sorry for a while for there should be
no room for hatre d to grow in our hearts.

When someone we love leaves us shattered, we
never have to pick-up the broken pieces of our lives
for we never lose what we give unselfishly out of
love. We only lose so much of ourselves when we
wallow in bitterness and in our unwillingness to
forgive. A love lost is not a love lost forever. In our
own time we will find the person meant to be one
with us. Some have already find their destiny,
others are still searching. Yours may already be
next in line but the only way to find out is to leave
yesterday behind, take the next step today and
look forward with hope and with fervent prayer for
that love that will last us all eternity.
